ABSTRACT
The disposal of the enormous quantity of agro-allied residues produced either at the point of post-harvest, or after consumption poses a great challenge not just to the farmers but the entire populace. These wastes are either left to decay or are burned in the open field thereby causing an extensive pollution and menace to the environment because an adequate means of turning these wastes to a beneficial alternative is not popular in the part of the World. As a solution to this problem, a screw press briquetting machine was designed and fabricated with it’s main feed stock being agro-residues.
